I'm here to help and want to give you the best boudoir experience imaginable.Here are some of the most Frequently Asked Questions from clients:

 

1- THE WOMEN ON YOUR WEBSITE LOOK LIKE MODELS. I CAN'T LOOK LIKE THAT!

Oh if I had a dollar for every time I heard "I can't look like that!".  I've heard everything from "I'm not pretty enough" to "I'm too fat," and we have no doubt that you CAN do this.Even if you've never done anything like boudoir photography before, we are here to make you feel comfortable every step of the way.

All the women you see in our images are REAL women, just like you and me. They are stay-at-home moms, nurses, doctors, veterinarians, brides-to-be, etc. They are women on a weight loss journey, wanting to make a gift, wanting to prove to themselves that they are still sexy after having kiddos, or looking for a self-confidence boost (and let me tell you this ALWAYS happens whether you are looking for it or not). There is no shape, size or age that you have to be to have a Boudoir Session. It is literally for every woman and we firmly believe that every woman DESERVES to feel beautiful, sexy, confident and empowered. 

Ladies, you are enough. I promise you that. These sessions are all about loving yourself. Let me show how beautiful you are, how gorgeous your body is, and how amazing you truly are! 

Boudoir does not require a specific size or look – it is for every woman. 

 

 

2- WILL YOU POST MY BOUDOIR PHOTOS ON YOUR WEBSITE OR SOCIAL MEDIA?

No. Our client’s privacy is our number one priority. The clients you see have given us exclusive permission.

We encourage our clients to allow us to post a few images of them to serve as role models to other clients but without your written consent we will NEVER post your boudoir photos publicly.

We understand the sensitive nature of boudoir photography and have the utmost respect for your wishes to keep them entirely private and secure. 

 

3- I'M AFRAID I'LL LOVE ALL OF MY IMAGES AND WON'T BE ABLE TO AFFORD IT.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLAN? 

Boudoir is an investment in yourself, it's an experience and as it is luxury. ;)

We want all ladies, regardless of what they do for a living to be able to splurge on themselves now and then. Especially when the short term splurge can have long term benefits.

We are here to help make it easy for women of all budgets to benefit from this life-changing experience.

We offer Pre-Payment plans to facilitate the investment for you. CONTACT US FOR DETAILS.

We also offer payment plans through PayPal Credit for orders over $1200. Please visit their site to apply before attending your viewing session. 

In studio Post-Payment plans are NO LONGER AVAILABLE. 

 

 

4- DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO POSE?

We will pose you from the tip of your toes to the way your hair lays.

We will do all the hard work to help you from start to finish. You do not have to worry about a thing and I promise we'll make your experience stress-free and empowering.  I know exactly how to pose all types of women to look their very very best. 

We will direct you every step of the way, from helping you prepare for your boudoir shoot with wardrobe and grooming tips, to posing every inch of you. You just need to show up and TRUST ME.

 

 

5- DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN OUTFITS FOR MY BOUDOIR SHOOT?

 

Although we have a variety of wardrobes in the studio, we do recommend you bring your own lingerie or personal outfits/items. The amount of outfit changes will depend on the package you selected.

We will go over wardrobe consultation prior to your shoot so you will know exactly what to expect. Please visit our BLOG page for ideas.

 

 

6- HOW SOON WILL MY PHOTOS BE READY?

For most clients the images viewing will happen at the same day of the session.

The final images and delivery of finished products will depend on what you order and how many images were selected. It can vary from 3 to 8 weeks after the photoshoot.  

If you have a deadline to receive images or products, we always reccomend scheduling your shoot with minimum of 2 months in advance.

 

 

7- DO YOU OFFER ON-LOCATION/ OUTDOOR/STYLED SESSIONS?

We absolutely do! Please CONTACT US for more information.

 

 

8- DO I HAVE TO SHOW A LOT OF SKIN?

The short answer is no.

We will discuss details about what you are looking for and I will share with you some of my ideas. Ultimately it is completely up to you!

You can go super-sexy, nude, with lingerie, or use one of your partner's shirts, or even a sexy dress, a simple tank top, an oversized sweater can also look amazing!

It’s your boudoir photoshoot and we want you to be completely comfortable and feel amazing.

 

 

9- IS IT OK TO TAN BEFORE MY SHOOT?

We do not recommend tanning before your shoot. Tanning always shows up VERY orange in the images,  can cause tan lines, orange palms, orange heels and other odd markings on the body. It can also rub off on clothing and furniture.

Fixing orange skin is not part of our standard retouching and will incur an additional fee. 

 

10- DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH MEN COUPLE SESSIONS?

We do offer Couple Sessions. AM Boudoir does not offer man only Boudoir photoshoot.  Please CONTACT US for details. 

 

 

11- CAN I BRING A FRIEND?

**Update: Due to Covid no friends/partner are allowed in studio during your shoot.**

Ask yourself if would feel completely comfortable having your friend around. Will your friend distract you? Will you feel shy posing in front of this friend? If the answer for one of these questions is "yes", I would not recommend bringing anyone with you.  

But, if you really want to share this great experience with a close female friend, you are more than welcome to bring her if it makes you feel more comfortable.   

We DO ask that the friend not interfere with the shoot (running in to “touch you up” in between every shot, directing your posing, etc) as we will handle anything along those lines that need to be done.

 We do not allow any more than 1 friend during the photoshoot.  We do not allow men in the studio while shooting, unless the said man is also part of the session.  No photography/video can be taken in the studio without the photographer's permission. That’s a firm policy. 

 

 

12- WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

 

We limit the number of sessions we offer per year to guarantee quality of services and imagery.

The retainer fee is NON-REFUNDABLE as the date was already reserved.

Rescheduling is possible considering this timeline:

- 30+ days prior to the session : 1st time rescheduling has no charge. 2nd time rescheduling will incur a $100 fee. 3rd+ time rescheduling, it will incur a $250 fee.

- 14 days before the session, $250 reschedule fee

- no call/no show will result in a $500 fee charged to the card on file. This fee also applies to cancelations within 24 hours of the shoot. 

- Reschedules are limited to no more than a 6 months period from the original session date. Sessions may not be pushed to over 6 months out. A new Session fee and a contract will be required and the current prices will apply. 

 Exceptions to these policies will apply only to illness/emergencies.
