When you book you will have an in person or online consultation with us to discuss ideas regarding the theme and mood that you are after. We will also talk about wardrobe narrowing down the look you are going for and present you a range of gorgeous premium quality products to display your beauty after the shoot. 

Each one of our sessions begins with hair and makeup which usually takes an hour or so. While this is taking place you can relax drinking something and getting comfortable. Most of our clients come into a boudoir session feeling somewhat anxious. We promise you will soon feel at ease as we will demonstrate poses for you as well as give you tips to look your best. Within a few minutes, you should be feeling like a supermodel!

SERVICES

Each session at AM Boudoir is tailored to fulfill your wants and needs. Our team provides an all-inclusive service, with a pre-shoot consultation in person or online to chat about your wardrobe and what will take place during your session plus professional hair and makeup done by our amazing HMU artist.

PREPARATION

We will set up a time for our pre-session consultation. Chatting ahead of time helps me get to know you, answer any of your questions about boudoir, and makes it a truly customized experience.

After you schedule a session, you will get a confirmation email containing tons of information on how to prepare for your session, what to bring, directions, etc.

You will also be able to fill out a questionnaire so that we will know what your preferences are for music, hair & makeup, and photo styles ahead of your shoot.

If you want to go a step further, you can collect images you like which will help us know what style(s) you want to pursue during your session. An easy way to do this is hopping over to Pinterest and start making a boudoir board of all your favorites and sharing the board with us. ;)

ARRIVAL

When you arrive our professional makeup artist/stylist will be there ready to make your beauty pop! Lashes are included. Hair extensions can also be included if we discuss about it during our pre-shoot consultaztion. 

After hair and makeup, you’re invited to get comfortable and unpack your belongings. We will propose a game plan for your session including the best outfits for your body type.  

We will combine any items you want to borrow from our wardrobe collection with any items you brought along. We'll even select the jewelry, shoes, and accessories you want with each outfit as needed.  

THE SHOOT

I will give you super easy-to-follow posing directions so no prior experience in front of the camera is needed at all. Really, my attention to detail is insane and I'll make sure every shot is PERFECT! Everyone leaves saying that it was so much easier than they thought it would be!

We will have speakers playing your favorite music to get you in the boudoir mood.

Refreshments and snacks will be available for you as well.  

Be prepared to arch your back and pose like you have never done before, and just have fun! I promise that you will love the experience just as much as the photos! I always recommend my clients to stretch at home prior to their sessions. You might get a little sore after the session lol

SAME DAY VIEWING

The image viewing will happen on the same day as your session! After the photo session is over, you’re invited to take a one-hour and half-hour coffee/lunch break. There are dozens of amazing coffee shops and restaurants around the area.

For Styled Boudoir clients (on-location shoots or extended sessions), the viewing will happen another day. After the photo session is done, you will be free to go and enjoy the rest of your day feeling like never before. The viewing/ordering appointment must happen maximum 14 days after your session at the studio or at your home*. (*subject to prior agreement) 

SCREENING/ORDERING

When you return from your break or during the viewing appointment, your images will be slightly retouched and ready to view! You'll see  all your photos and then together we’ll pick your favorites through a process of elimination. This is actually the hardest part of the entire day because you are going to love them ALL!

Most people choose to purchase a photo album with multiple images, but we also have individual prints, wall arts, and specialty items that are popular add-ons.  

The product(s) you order will undergo additional master retouching, design work, and then move to print and production. You can anticipate a beautiful package to arrive 3-8 weeks after your session depending on the products selected. 

DELIVERY

The products can be delivered to your home or we will schedule a pickup date at the studio.

We offer recommendations for wall art installation upon request.
